My Fav LI Beach

If you live on Long Island, or at least visit often, you know there are many beaches to visit. And everyone has their favorite. There's the south shore, north shore, out east, and of course the biggies like Robert Moses and Jones Beach.

My favorite beach is "Overlook". It is a Town of Babylon Ocean beach, and you need a parking permit, which costs $35. They have a new playground, and tons of soft sand! Hungry? Visit the Beach Hut for yummy food and adult beverages. Make sure to pack up your car, items I always like to bring to the beach: cooler with plenty of cold water, sunblock, umbrella, bug spray, hats, chairs, towels, blankets, buckets and shovels for the kids, and snacks. So...enjoy your summer and visit the Long Island beaches! Please try to keep the beaches smoke free!
